A ceramic valve seat guarantees excellent results wherever dosing systems need to be sealed properly for a wide range of applications, ranging from homogenisers, the chemical industry, high-pressure pumps, pharmaceuticals, and all applications where the valve seat comes into contact with highly corrosive and/or abrasive fluids.
Our valve seats are mainly made of Zircox M, a material that is extremely resistant to high temperatures, corrosion and wear and guarantees a long service life of the part; it is also protected against any risk of material pollution, thanks to its chemical inertness. In addition, the presence of a special doping agent makes it possible to obtain sintered products with a controlled microstructure and high resistance to thermal shock.
Finally, having a high thermal expansion, this material may be preferred to others for parts requiring assembly with steel.
